Little
Family Films is headed by Doug Saputo,
a professional New York City filmmaker who has
a wide range of experience in all areas of filmmaking,
from pre to post-production. He is a member
of SAG/AFTRA and ASCAP and has worked as an
actor on television and in the theater in addition
to producing and directing numerous promotional
videos, short films and documentaries, public
service announcements, commercials and travel
videos. Doug graduated from Columbia University
where he studied Comparative Literature and
Art History and played on the Men's Varsity
Tennis team. He has completed extensive coursework
at Columbia University Film School and is currently
continuing his film studies at CUNY Graduate
Center in New York City. |

A product of backwoods Maine, Robin Blotnick
has worked in motion picture development, and
as a freelance editor of everything from cage-fighting
matches to celebrity home movies. His first
documentary, Chocolate
Country, received a Grand Jury Prize
at the Seattle International Film Festival,
was a winner in LinkTVs ViewChange
competition, and is used as a teaching tool
by educators and Fair Trade advocates around
the world. His feature documentary debut, Gods
and Kings, tells a strange story
of masks, magic, and mass media in the highlands
of Guatemala. It won the Intangible Culture
Prize at the RAI International Festival of Ethnographic
Films (Scotland, 2013) and was the opening night
film at Ethnocineca (Austria, 2014). Robin is
a 2013 Sundance Creative Producing Fellow for
his new film The Hand That Feeds, which has
picked up press acclaim and awards at several
festivals, including Full Frame and AFI Docs,
and will broadcast on PBS in 2015. |

Michael
Burlingame's
independent films have been featured in many
international film festivals, including the
London Film Festival, the Brussels International
Festival of Film and Video, the Chicago International
Film Festival and the Krakow International Festival
of Short Films. They have also screened at museums
such as the Los Angeles County Museum of Art,
the American Museum of the Moving Image, the
Institute of Contemporary Art (Boston), and
the Museum of Fine Arts (Boston). His work in
music video includes the Janis Joplin documentary
Nine Hundred Nights, as well as projects with
Paul McCartney, Sting, Robert Plant, Yoko Ono,
and Bob Dylan. He received an Emmy nomination
for his editing work with Sting. Burlingame
has twice been recognized with fellowships and
other financial awards from the National Endowment
for the Arts and American Film Institute.
Television and DVD credits include: STING "Summoner's
Travels," and "Sting at the Hollywood
Bowl" (EMMY nomination), BOB DYLAN "30th
Anniversary Concert," PAUL McCARTNEY "Paul
is Live," ROBERT PLANT and JIMMY PAGE "No
Quarter--MTV Unplugged," THE CURE "Show,"
MARIANNE FAITHFULL "Blazing Away,"
DAVE MATTHEWS BAND "PBS In the Spotlight,"
and L.L. COOL J "Future of the Funk."
